The New Jersey Titans, proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Justin Cohn has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Alvernia University Golden Wolves.
Cohn, 21, joined the Titans in the beginning of 2021. He had six points (1 goal and 5 assists) in 16 regular season games this season. The Exton, PA native led all Titans’ blueliners with three total points (1 goal and 2 assists) in five playoff contests. He was the team’s captain.
“I am excited to get going at the next level and showcase my skills at Alvernia University” stated Cohn. “I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, parents and friends for everything they have done for me. Thanks to the Titans organization for bringing me in the second half of the season and be its captain. I can’t thank you guys enough for your support” concluded Cohn.
“I am very happy for Justin” said Titans General Manager George Haviland. “He was a solid part of our organization for the second half of the season. He has great character. Alvernia is getting a quality person and player” stated Haviland.
Alvernia University is in Reading, PA. The Golden Wolves begin their inaugural season in the fall of 2022. Their head coach will be Steve Rowe. They will be a member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
