New Jersey Titans head coach Lenny Caglianone has announced today that Connor Tierney has joined his staff as an assistant coach.
“Connor was a no brainer to bring on as an assistant” said Caglianone. “His local pedigree and playing career at the junior and collegiate levels were two deciding factors that made him well suited for the position. His youthfulness and tenacity fit perfectly with the direction we’re going this year. He’ll do an amazing job working with the players and focusing in on development as well as the Xs and Os” concluded Caglianone.
Tierney is a 2015 graduate of Christian Brother Academy; a four-year member of the hockey team; a team captain and two-time state hockey champion.
He started his junior career with the Kingston Voyageurs in the OJHL, and he finished it by playing with the Philadelphia Flyer USPHL.
Tierney played collegiate hockey for SUNY Cortland having played in 63 games. His senior year was canceled due to COVID-19, and he graduated cum lade with a business economics degree.
