Titans netminder Donovan Alfama turned aside 44 of 48 shots but it wasn’t enough as the Titans fell to the Long Beach Sharks this afternoon 4 – 0. It was the second time in a week that the Red Buckets lost to the Sharks.
Long Beach opened the scoring with 7:13 left in the first period when Dylan Harbour scored a shorthanded goal with an assist from Devin Carey.
Spencer Dixon doubled the Sharks lead with 3:12 left in second. The Sharks closed out the scoring when Jack Fitzpatrick made it 3 – 0 with 3:13 into the third period, and Matt Carson made it 4 – 0 with 9:53 left in regulation.
Ryo Murakami turned aside 20 Titans shots for his first shutout of the season. Click here for the box score.
