The NA3HL announced today its Bauer Stars of the Week for week ending December 5 and Titans netminder Donovan Alfama was named the East Division’s first star of the week while forward Jesse Dickinson was selected honorable mention.
Alfama was 2 – 0 with a 1.00 goals against average and .972 save percentage with one shutout. On Sunday, recorded his first shutout of the season stopping all 39 shots he faced against the Long Beach Sharks. On the season he has a 5 – 6 record with a 3.71 goals against average and .921 save percentage.
This is the third time this season that Alfama has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for weeks ending October 17 and 24.
Dickinson had three goals and three games last week. He scored a goal in last Wednesday’s contest against Danbury, and he had a pair of goals in last Thursday’s 5 – 2 win over Norwich. On the season the Middletown, NJ native has five points (3 goals and 2 assists) in ten games.
