The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its award winners for the 2020-21 All-Divisional Teams, as well as divisional awards for MVP, Forward of the Year, Defenseman of the Year, Goaltender of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Community Service, Leadership and Academic Awards as voted by the league’s coaches, based upon performance during the 2020-21 season.
Titans forward Brandon Avezov was name the East Division’s Forward of the Year and Rookie of the Year. He also was named to the 2020-21 All-East Division.
Avezov led the Titans with 64 total points (27 goals and 37 assists) as well as goals (27). He finished eighth overall in the league in total points.
The Bellmore, NY native was recognized by the league for weekly/monthly recognition ten times this past season: He was the East Division’s Star of the Week for weeks ending March 14, November 22, November 1, October 25 and October 19. He was the second Star of the Week for week ending November 15 and honorable mention March 7 and 28. He was the league’s Forward of the Month for October, and he was honorable mention for the league’s Forward of the Month for November.
